The undergraduate minor in Middle Eastern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (MELLAC) has been designed to give students majoring in other departments an opportunity to gain a substantial introduction to Middle Eastern and African languages, and to the cultures and civilizations of the Middle East and Africa. Students declaring a minor must do so no later than the last day of the Spring quarter of their junior year, or four quarters before degree conferral. Offered for students who may wish to supplement their coursework in their major field of study with significant coursework in modern languages and literatures.
CS+Slavic Languages and Literatures
The Russian Language and Literature field of study is designed for those students who wish to gain command of the Russian language and to study the nation's literary tradition.
